Training content
With the current version of Terraform and its configuration language HCL (Hashicorp Configuration Language), the approach to automating cloud infrastructure has evolved.
This Terraform training course shows how infrastructure is realized idempotently with Terraform’s own DSL (HCL, Hashicorp Configuration Language). All examples include practical exercises using Open Stack (also applicable to AWS and Azure). There is also a brief introduction to cloud-init in order to install and configure additional software.

Target group
Basic knowledge of Linux is required for successful participation in the Terraform training course. Participants should be able to use the command line confidently and be familiar with essential tools such as SSH and a text editor such as Vim, Nano or an alternative.
As Terraform is an Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tool that relies heavily on automation, a basic understanding of networks, server infrastructures and cloud technologies is also helpful. Experience with YAML, JSON or another declarative language is an advantage, but not essential.
Our training is designed for both beginners and IT professionals who want to use Terraform efficiently in their daily work processes.
