We’ve been doing this since 1995. It just didn’t have a name yet.
Sovereignty was never a strategic decision for us. She just gave in. It is a byproduct of the way we’ve been working for over 25 years: open source instead of a black box, a data center in Nuremberg instead of a clause in a U.S. contract, source code instead of blind trust.
We didn’t have to overhaul our infrastructure to become “self-reliant.” We’ve just stopped wondering why everyone is talking like that now.

Your systems are hosted in our data center in Germany. No parent company on another continent that, if necessary, would have to follow different laws than you do.
